Boys vs. Girls Survivor Challenge
Watch out Mahoney State Park - here we come! Every year in the month of July, Youth for Christ takes 30 kids to the State Park to spend four days and three nights holding camp - YFC style.
Itinerary for the camp includes, campouts, hikes, swimming, horseback riding, crafts, tie-dying t-shirts, crazy games and two days of team tournaments. The team tournaments are boys vs. girls and involve brains, brawn and lots of grimy, mucky challenges. It makes for an opportunity to talk about the differences between sexes and healthy relationships because of those differences. At the end of each day's activities we hold group bonding and other activities.
